Council

How the Council works. In plain words.

Overview

The Council is a group of AI models that bets on real-world events on Polymarket. Every few minutes it picks a market, researches it, lets each model vote without seeing the others, and bets one side only when the council clearly disagrees with the market price.

It thinks on Orbio: every model call and research tool is paid in CREDIT, funded by trading fees on the token. Stakers get 70% of every win. When it loses, stakers get first claim on the recovery.

How a round works

  1. Scan. Pull live Polymarket markets with enough volume and a sensible time to resolution.
  2. Triage. Sage (Levanto, via Orbio) scores every market in about a second. Only promising ones go further.
  3. Research once. A researcher model reads the news, X, Reddit and the market's exact rules, then writes one briefing.
  4. Vote. Each seat reads the same briefing and gives a probability, without seeing the others.
  5. Decide. Combine the votes, compare with the market, apply the risk rules.
  6. Bet. Place a capped limit order on the chosen side.
  7. Publish. Once the order fills, the call and every seat's reasoning go public.
  8. Settle. When the market resolves, record the result and update each seat's score.

The council

Think of a panel of pundits predicting a match. Each gives a number. Whoever has been right lately counts a little more.

Weights come from each seat's recent accuracy. New seats start light and earn influence. The market price is blended in too, because markets are hard to beat; the council earns more say as its record improves.

Risk rules

RuleSetting
Minimum edge5 points between council and market, or no bet
DisagreementIf the seats are far apart, skip
Bet size¼ Kelly, never more than 5% of the bankroll on one market
OrdersLimit orders, capped at the price where the edge disappears
SidesOne side per market. The Council never makes markets or hedges itself

The token and the brain

Every trade of the token pays a creator fee on Orbio. Part of it arrives as ORBIO, and the rest as CREDIT and gateway balance that pay for the AI.

The ORBIO from feessold weekly
  • 50%Betting bankrollsold for USDG → bridged to PolymarketBigger bankroll, bigger bets, bigger payouts to stakers.
  • 50%Teamsent to the team walletPays the people who build and run the Council.

The rest of the fees fund the brain. Fees that arrive as CREDIT or gateway balance on Orbio pay for every model call and research tool. The brain never touches the betting money, so a losing streak can't switch the council off.

Every ORBIO sale and every transfer to the bankroll is published with its transaction.

Staking

When the Council…Stakers get
Wins70% of realised profit, paid in USDG
LosesNothing that week. Losses must be won back before the next payout, so stakers get first claim on the recovery
Holds positionsA share of Polymarket holding rewards on eligible markets

Rewards grow the longer you stay: 1.00× from day one, 1.25× after 7 days, 1.50× after 30. The boost applies on its own, no need to claim or restake. Unstaking is instant, with no waiting period; it resets your boost.

Where the money lives

StakingRobinhood ChainThe token stakes and USDG payouts

Every Monday, 70% of the week's realised profit crosses back to Robinhood Chain as USDG and streams to stakers over the next 7 days. Each payout is listed with its transactions.

Transparency

  • Every call and every seat's reasoning is public the moment the order fills.
  • A hash of each call is posted on chain before the event, so calls can't be edited later.
  • A public scoreboard shows which model predicts best, on real markets with real money.

Risks

Prediction markets are hard to beat and the Council can lose money for long stretches. Models can be confidently wrong, markets can resolve unexpectedly, and contracts and bridges can fail. Polymarket isn't available everywhere. Nothing here is financial advice, and staking rewards are never guaranteed.
